Accessing WordPress VIP (WPVIP)

Overview

The WordPress VIP Dashboard is a centralized platform for to mange the ChurchLawAndTax site. It provides tools for deploying code, managing environments, monitoring site performance, and accessing logs.

Accessing the Dashboard

1. Navigate to WordPress VIP Dashboard.

2. Log in with your WordPress VIP credentials.

3. Upon successful login, you will be directed to the dashboard homepage, displaying an overview of your site’s environments.

Dashboard Features

1. Applications View

• View a list of all the WordPress VIP sites you have access to.

• Click on the 'christianity-today' to access detailed information and settings.

  

2. Environments

• WordPress VIP typically provides multiple environments:

  • Production: Live site environment.
    https://www.churchlawandtax.com/

  • Preprod: Pre-production environment for testing.
    https://christianity-today-preprod.go-vip.net/

  • Develop: Sandbox for local testing.
    https://christianity-today-develop.go-vip.net/

• Each environment shows deployment history, status, and logs.

• Switch between environments in the dropdown menu shown below.

3. Deployments

• View recent and pending deployments.

• Roll back to a previous deployment if necessary.

4. Logs & Monitoring

• Access real-time logs to troubleshoot errors.

• View application logs, access logs, and error logs.

• Monitor site health and performance metrics.

5. User Management

• Manage team members and their roles.

• Assign permissions based on access levels.

6. Settings & Configuration

• Manage domain settings and environment variables.

• Enable or disable features like caching and logging.
